Chelsea Gallery DVD and sound installation (2004)

This moving digital portrait plays with image distortion and language. The distortion, a small circle, moves around the screen of a full face. For the interactive version of MUTE, the disrupted element is triggered by the cursor. Instead of speaking, thought is expressed on the face and hands by the written word. To understand the meaning you have to combine the deformed element with the words.
